The purpose of this guide is to:

• adapt the requirements of Annexes I or II of the ESPN decree [3] and the radiation protection guide [21] in application of Annex IV of the ESPN decree [3],
• define the technical reference framework applicable to the design and manufacture of PPPs (Main Pressure Parts),
• define the technical documentation required to assess the design and manufacture of PPPs,
• define the procedures for assessing the conformity of PPPs.

This guide applies to the design and manufacture of PPPs subject to Article 10 of the decree of 10/11/1999 [4] and intended for ESPNs of level N1 of category 0 to IV of the CPP (Main Primary Circuit) - CSP (Main Secondary Circuit), regardless of the manufacturing regime of the ESPN for which they are intended.
