The first RCC-M Chinese Specialized User Group (CSUG) meeting was successfully held from June 19 to 20, 2024, in Nansha, Guangzhou. The event was jointly organized by AFCEN and CGN, hosted by SNPI, and co-organized by Dong Fang Electric (Guangzhou) Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (DFHM).

On June 19, over 40 members from various Chinese entities gathered and, with French experts connected via video conference, discussed more than 40 technical topics. These discussions covered several chapters, including design, welding, and materials.

On June 20, the Chinese experts attending the meeting were invited to visit DFHM. They toured the welder training center, testing center, technology exhibition hall, heavy machinery workshop, and dock. The level of digitization was particularly impressive.

The next CSUG meeting will be held in Beijing in October.
