New technical publication AFCEN-PTAN-07009-2024

Examples of NPMA according to the methodological guide for preparing NPMAs for N1 nuclear pressure. French version only.

This technical publication is available directly in your AFCEN library if you are subscribed to the RCC-M code: further details.

New training course
  • Valves in accordance with RCC-M (Duration: 3 days)

Based on knowledge of the RCC-M and its regular application, the "Valves in accordance with RCC-M" training course covers all the steps leading to the design and manufacture of a valve according to the RCC-M illustrated with practical case studies from the nuclear industry. The main areas covered are valve technologies in a PWR, design, materials, welding, manufacturing, and hydraulic testing. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences with the trainers, who are experts in the fields covered.

  • Discovering the design according to the RCC-M code (Duration: 1 day)

The training course "Discovering design according to the RCC-M code" allows students to understand the organisation of the RCC-M code and to study the chapters presenting the design and analysis rules. Practical examples will be covered to illustrate the theoretical rules. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences with the trainers, who are experts in the fields covered.

  • Elastic analyses according to the RCC-M code – primary stresses and fatigue (Duration: 2 days)

Based on a general knowledge of RCC-M and the different modes of failure encountered in mechanical analyses, the training course "Elastic analyses according to the RCC-M code – primary stresses and fatigue" mainly includes the study of elastic mechanical analysis methods and their application through simplified cases. The areas covered are excessive deformation and plastic instability, progressive deformation and fatigue. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences with the trainers, who are experts in the fields covered.
