This guide covers the installation operation (permanent assemblies and protection against exceeding the permissible limits) of equipment subject to Annex V point 5, the characteristics of which are as follows:
- Nuclear pressure equipment of categories I to IV and level N2 or N3, intended for liquids whose vapour pressure, at the maximum permissible temperature, is less than or equal to 0.5 bar above atmospheric pressure (1013mbar)
- Nuclear pressure equipment of categories I and level N2 or N3, intended for gases, liquefied gases, gases dissolved under pressure, vapours and liquids whose vapour pressure, at the maximum permissible temperature, is greater than 0.5 bar above atmospheric pressure (1013mbar) whether to constitute a new INB, to constitute a new system in an INB in service or for installation in an existing system in an INB in service.
